Go Green Longboarding

Hey everyone! The warm weather is FINALLY here! I hope that everyone is outside enjoying it.
Last Saturday Go Green Longboarding put on a 4 mile push race though out the Lansing area. There were over 30 racers!

Motown Showdown Results

We would like to congratulate Modern team members Dustin Blauvelt, Mark Davenport, Joe "Dirt" Siemianowski, Brian Fischer, Johnny Cleary, Tre Bresnihan, Wes Wallace, Wes Johnson and Anthony Williams for a successful contest; the Motown Showdown was held at our Royal Oak Park. Thanks to all contestants for participating in the contest and representing their shop. Our goal of the event was to celebrate skating and to welcome other shops to our park. We all had a great time. The results and footage will be posted on our website later today.

New Sector Nine Longboard

We just received new Sector Nine longboards. You might be discouraged to come in a check them out because of the rain, but the next couple of days are supposed to be really nice.

Longboards are a great way to get around rather than driving, since the price of gas is going up again. And, let's be honest, no one likes riding the CATA.

Just a reminder, Saturday, April 18th starting at 6pm our Royal Oak skate park is holding the Motown Showdown! It is a competition between all the skate shops in Michigan. Also, one of our Royal Oak employees' band is playing, along with other artists! You should definitely check that out!

New Arbor Longboards

After that snow we got last Sunday, I thought spring/summer was never going to come. But, don't worry, the weather is slowly getting nicer. With that said, we just got in a bunch of Arbor longboards. The longboards sell quickly, so come in and get one before we sell out.
Also, today we placed a skate order, which will come in tomorrow. The order includes: Baker, Krooked, Skate Mental, Creature, and Real decks. Along with Bones, Spitfire, and Autobahn wheels. The new Thrasher DVD is out and we will be getting that tomorrow!
